COLOURS
Autumn ushers in browns, reds and rich blondes every year. Colour 30 has been particularly popular in 2024 and it's having a bit of a revival, as well as mixed colours with a hint of red. The #GreyDontCare movement is also gaining traction on social media, so make sure you're offering grey as one of your options.
STYLES
Bobs are on vogue, with several celebrities sporting the look. Super long hair - think 30" plus - is still very much a thing, especially for braiding. And Goddess Braids are still all the rave. As the weather cools down, we also enter wig season. So make sure your store's wig section is stocked up.
SPECIAL EVENTS
September sees World Afro Day on the 15th, and Octobter is Black History Month.
Halloween is now also a big event in the UK and across the world. This means crazy wigs and braiding colours. Even better if it glows in the dark. So make sure you offer at least a small selection for customers wanting to dress up. Synthetics are a must here as customers won't be looking to invest massively for one night of fun.
